Refund Policy

Subscription service — refunds are limited but the Australian Consumer Law guarantee always applies.
1. Free trial
The first 14 days are free. No charge happens until you start a subscription. Cancel during the trial, you pay nothing.
2. Monthly subscription
- Cancel any time from workspace settings. Subscription stays active until end of current billing period — no proration.
- We do not refund partial months once a billing period has started, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
3. When we DO refund
- Service down for >24 hours in your billing period: pro-rata refund on request.
- Major bug we cannot fix in 7 days that prevents you running rosters/payroll: full refund of current month.
- Pay calculation error caused by our bug: full refund of current month + we help you correct staff payroll.
- Accidental double-charge by Stripe: immediate full refund of duplicate.
- Australian Consumer Law guarantee not met: refund or repair as required.
4. When we do NOT refund
- "I changed my mind" after starting a billing period.
- You forgot to cancel before next billing date.
- Your business not using the service (no usage doesn't trigger refund).
- Pay calculations differ because you have non-standard Award rates we don't support yet.
- Signed up by mistake — contact us within 7 days, we'll be reasonable.
5. How to request a refund
Email melbourneairostering@gmail.com with:
- Your workspace name + email used for signup
- What happened
- What you'd like (refund or service fix)
Response within 1 business day. Approved refunds appear on card in 5–10 business days.
6. Australian Consumer Law
You have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that we cannot exclude. If the service has a major problem you can choose between refund or repair. Minor problems we can choose how to fix. See accc.gov.au for details.
